Things are still moving forward and on schedule. Can't believe we'll be moving back into the building in about six weeks! And we get to keep our steeple!! http://www.pvmchurch.org/repair-updates/still-moving-forward-and-on-schedule
Progress continues to be made on our repair and renovation. Keep up with progress here (while staying a safe distance away from the construction site). And keep the many workers in your prayers. Check our website for Sunday morning meeting schedule and locations. http://www.pvmchurch.org/repair-updates/making-progress
This is why our church staff will be spending a good part of the summer in cubicle offices at Eastern Mennonite Seminary. Thanks to EMS for hosting our church offices and worship space, and for the many, many hard-working volunteers who made this temporary move possible. Keep us in your prayers! http://www.pvmchurch.org/repair-updates/construction-is-underway
Some pics from the Sr. High youth retreat this past weekend, where several of our youth attended.
My Coins Count offering begins THIS Sunday at PVMC. You are invited to bring your change!
Take a listen to this beautiful choir number from Sunday morning. Good preparation for Holy Week coming up. Translation: Hail, true Body, born of the Virgin Mary, who truly suffered, sacrificed on the cross for humankind, from whose pierced side flowed water and blood; be our consolation in death's ordeal. O sweet Jesus, O holy Jesus, O Jesus, son of Mary, have mercy upon us. Amen. https://youtu.be/qY2bggsV4l4
Church retreat is off to a good start. Come join us!
Adam Tice wrote a new hymn text on Wednesday, in response to the Orlando shootings: "Let speeches fall silent" (http://tinyurl.com/zss2swr). We'll be singing it on Sunday morning, a minute or two after 9:30 a.m. If you care to hear it, listen live at 9:30 here, at http://tinyurl.com/zss2swr).

Looking for something to do this Friday evening? Come on out to the PVMC coffeehouse for some games, coffee, and fellowship starting at 6:30pm in the Fireplace room.

This time of year reminds me that one of the gifts (and not the least) that a church can offer its community, is to plant trees on the land that it stewards. Our hearty thanks to those in prior decades who had the vision and foresight to plant and care for these beautiful trees, and our praise to God who performs wonders on them in every season.
The children of the Early Learning Center made a great start on the fall cleanup of our church grounds this morning. The way they acted, it wasn't too big a burden for them. Thanks, kids!!
